Pinnacle Day of Service 2018

Pinnacle Day of Service 2018

We have chosen to serve the Food Bank for our Annual Day of Service!

On September 11th 2018, Pinnacle Business Systems will be spending the day giving back to the communities that we live and work in!

Our Edmond office will be serving at the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, our Tulsa office will be at the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma, and our Chicago office will be at the Northern Illinois Food Bank.

We have chosen to serve at the food banks in our area because 41 million people face hunger in the U.S. today — including nearly 13 million children and more than five million seniors. Hunger knows no boundaries — it touches every community in the U.S., including your own.

“41 million people face hunger in the U.S. today.”

According to the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, “Oklahoma consistently ranks among the hungriest states in the nation. One in six adults and one in four children in Oklahoma have inconsistent access to healthy food.” A new study by Northern Illinois Food Bank and Feeding America shows that nearly 600,000 people in northern Illinois turn to food pantries and meal programs to feed themselves and their families.

We feel passionately about working to end the hunger crisis in our communities and look forward to serving them during our annual Pinnacle Day of Service. If you are in the area and would like to volunteer with us for our annual Pinnacle Day of Service, contact Sarah.Hendon@pbsnow.com for information on how to register.
